Quickbooks question by whytwolf 2002-08-06 10:40:21
I have a question for anyone with Quickbooks experience. We recently switched from Great Plains (an old DOS based version) to Quickbooks Pro for accounting. I managed to import all of the vendor and customer accounts, but not the opening balances. It was my understanding that the opening balances could be input after the accounts were imported or else I would have done it differently. :-) So, is there any way to create the opening balance for an existing customer? Or should I just export the customer records, input the balances in Excel, and then re-import the accounts?
