my opinion be wrong? Maybe my suppositions are incorrect, but my opinion is just as valid as yours, considering it is based on the information I have--the only facts and suppositions I can go on.

I believe marital status is germaine in re: the custodial status of the child, and the use of that status in both the father's and the mother's suits/motions. I don't know what that status is, but I believe it could have some legal bearing here, only so far as the custodial issue is concerned.

And yes, I tend to be more conservative in some matters. Radical borderline conservative/libertarian athiest, to be more precise. I happen to agree with the letter of the opinion of the court that "under God" is unconstitutional for a pledge of allegiance to a country which is purportedly sectarian/secular (see the First Amendment), but in consideration of recent events in our history, I don't think that the rendering of that opinion could possibly be more ill-timed as far as public opinion goes.
