We had to file for our wedding licenses before we had the ceremony. Our minister (Universal Life in fact) acted as a witness for the licenses making sure my hubby and myself as well as our witnesses all signed. She then sent the license into the state and we got our copy back a couple of weeks later. Hey! I wonder if you could get married by Elvis's car if you went to Nevada?
