  have you tried by nimdokk 2002-08-06 08:42:49
running with -w to display warnings? or even with -c to make sure that the syntax is good? also you may want to try -d to run it with the debugger.

#!/usr/bin/perl -w
#!/usr/bin/perl -c
#!/usr/bin/perl -d
you don't have to set those in the execute line but invoke from commandline as:
$ perl -c scriptname.pl
or whichever.
