"Under God" Revisited by GeekPrincess2006-11-19 12:55:59
Fox News Strikes Again! by special_ed 2002-08-06 06:37:20
Did anyone notice the last line of the article?

"Banning and Newdow have never been married."

This has no bearing on the story, and no effect on the case. Why, then did Fox News choose to include it? I have a few ideas, but they're probably all colored or otherwise influenced by my intense hatred of news organizations in general (except The Daily Show) and Fox News in particular.

In any case, this 'passing mention' of the marital status of these people is symptomatic of the pervasive puritanism of the USian public. That Fox News thinks this fact worthy of reporting shows just how far up their collective rectal cavity their heads really are. And I am ashamed to be associated with these people, even if it is only sharing a common country of origin.

Oh, the case? I could care less.
