Question of the Day! by kickstart2006-11-19 12:23:33
Well, since you asked... by GeekPrincess 2002-08-06 01:18:53
The other day, I was thinking about the inequality between men and women, and it occurred to me that there are a LOT more men in America's prisons than women, and since we want equality for all (right?), I'm proposing that we either arrest more women or free more men!! Now, I, personally, am not volunteering to be arrested, though looking at how nice some of the prisons are for criminals who do things like write bad checks, it would not be so bad. In fact, from what I read about the conditions in some third-world countries, an American prison would seem like paradise, by comparison, so we shouldn't feel too badly for imprisoning more women to make things more equal, or we should feel sorry for the released men who have been turned out from their prison/sanctuaries. Of course, the shock of leaving their rehabilitation campuses and facing the tough, cruel world will make it necessary for us to support these men, with Wellfare dollars because, surely, being imprisoned and/or being set free is very traumatic, and post traumatic stress disorder is a legitimate chronic psychiatric condition, so we'll have to give them Welfare money and not hold it against them, if they act crazy...

And just think...With more of those previously-incarcerated men loose in our society, there would be more for the newspapers and CNN to talk about, and a more equal male:female ratio on the dating scene...

So, FREE THE MEN and LOCK UP MORE WOMEN!!! Let's have REAL equality in America!!

Well? How was that for a troll?
