Further, the license CNN has with Enya record company allowing them to use the music in their news reports probably does NOT allow them to pass these rights own. So, they could broadcast (and rebroadcast) the report as it is, but could only grant you the right to use the script. Note that Enya records for Reprise records, which is a division of AOL/Time-Warner, as is CNN, so working out a licensing deal between them is quite easy. (Most likely just an interoffice memo saying, "if you need to use background music for something, use a song from the Warner Bros catalog"). Unless AOL is knocking on the door, offering to buy you out, you don't have the same clout.

Actually, there's no grey area whatsoever. Posting on a website would be considered "publication" and that's purely the right of the copyright holder.
