Used to work at first data, complete with large mainframe farms proccessing credit card requests in, you guessed it, COBOL. Neway, there was this one program, name of ssupdate, was like something on the order of several hundred thousand lines (like 200k+), when I last left, they were trying to split it up, but not having much luck, as it was a mess. and you guessed it, that was one of the programs that my little program choked on.
