You know you play too many video games when ... by Linfalgamo 2002-07-24 20:28:55
... you begin to see exclaimation marks and expect a neat movie cut scene to explain what you're looking at/doing next.

I was cleaning some parts today at work. They were pretty small and I was working in a small area so I put it under my lamp/magnifying glass to get a better look. That and I rarely get to use the magnifier on it so I figured I may as well take the opportunity. Anyways I was cleaning and I suddenly noticed a white exclaimation mark floating over the piece I was just working on. So I picked it up and looked at it for a little longer, but the mark still remained. I stared at the piece for about 5 minutes trying to figure out what was wrong with it until I realized that the "exclaimation mark" was a distorted reflection of the florescent light about 40' above me. I felt a little silly and decided to stop playing Max Payne quite so much.

I felt even more rediculous when I realized that I was disappointed that there wasn't a, comic book like, cut scene explaining the new plot twist to me.
