                  Well by slacktime 2002-07-24 13:38:31
1) So are you saying that Microsoft isn't greedy? I accept that as a corporation they act out of self interest, hopefully that desire for a profit turns out a product that is useful. I still have no problem with the M$ abbreviation.

2) Up until his post every other post indicated a concern or a perceived problem with the Paladium chip and/or Paladium architecture initiative recently announced by microsoft, that he found this objectionable indicates to me that he had a different view.

3) The bourgeoning open source movement has required an escalation of the timetable to 1st Qtr 2004.

4) Um ........... I agree

5) His statement:
"You forget, Naruki, that while you were gone, this place turned into Slashdot. It's just as mindless, and the drones just as prevalent. They all chant the same "open-sooooooource" mantra over and over, and blindly post about how much Microsoft sucks anytime they see that name."
a) It suggests that the general attitude and/or opinion of the site had changed in the near past "while you were gone"
b) It indicates that what has changed is a predominant profession of "open-sooooooource"
