Well, I'd be happy to hear your reasons for being Pro Palladium. If your posting had had statements of any kind telling me why you support the initiative I wouldn't have insinuated it as being a troll. But it had no reasoned discussion at all, it just flamed the thread as being anti-microsoft. Please enlighten me as to why you think it will be a great improvement. Your post is the most blatant name calling of the entire thread.
Maybe there is too much bashing of microsoft on the board. Personally I ignore the substanceless M$ digs as I do any other troll. But I find that generally UF posters are not blatantly anti-microsoft. Microsoft is the biggest ship in the ocean and if we take pot-shots at him occasionally in fun, it doesn't make us rabid microsoft haters. On the other hand, we should watch what microsoft proposes and outlines as future technologies, anyone who tries to convince me that they (Microsoft) acts out of any motivation except self-interest will fail.
On the other hand, UF has a long history of pro opensource sentiment, you can't say that pro-opensource is a new stance for UF and/or UF readers.
So please, give us your opinions on Palladium, we are all waiting.

btw: I have a physical condition that is related to MS (Multiple Sclerosis) and so to me MS has a different meaning, excuse me if I find the short M$ a reasonable substitute for typing out microsoft, it seems to be a generally accepted abbreviation. |
