Easy, they make money on credit card fraud. The insurance gets payed a lot of money and so does the bank and that's why they don't want ot change the system. Everyone is a winner except you! You have to wait ages to get your money back and have to prove it wasn't you who spent it! During that time they've used your money to make more money and you're paying for the whole process too.
