which is what we need ... when the rain manages to get over our "mountains" (all 500 ft of them) and into the wheat belt region beyond them. Winter is the one thing that makes me regret having a job on the main drag of Perth - it is a wind tunnel ... blowing a gale and more freezing than any other part of the city. (I got soaked this morning - local railway station roof wasnt big enough to shelter all the people from the rain, and the roof leaked ... grumble) We dont do wet weather well here - too used ot the summer!
