...they built this expo using your taxes, and they've been profiting from their use and a monopoly on the land, and now they want to sell them back to you? Sounds like the way sports arenas are built over here. We have a baseball/football stadium that was built 30 years ago...but our football team built a new place (with our tax money) 3 years ago, and the baseball team is building a new park (with our tax money) now. What's going to happen to the site of the old arena? You guessed it...they'd like to sell it back to us. Interesting that we're not the only folks this is happening to. But the spoiled brats who play these games have to have their stadia...so says the people in charge.
