Seems like Microsoft and Intel are starting to dig their own grave.
If AMD is clever they will design a "TCPA Outside" logo or something.
That stuff will definetely never enter MY home. How can anybody be so stupid as to grant somebody somewhere the privilege to delete files on their computer ? That's just plumb crazy.
You give some company the right to see what's on your hard drive. That is just plain illegal in the EU.
And I definetely don't want a court in the US decide what document or file is legal or not for the rest of the world.
But experience tells me there are enough stupid people in the world that it actualy might become a standard.
It really is funny, that nowadays the US seems more and more like some imperialistic empire, keen on censoring stuff, and, like, making the chinese pay "taxes" on stuff like the english wanted them to pay on tea, while countries like russia for example become more and more a symbol of freedom and democracy ;-)
So if there ever will be no PC available without it it will be the time I leave the PC community. |
