I also got confused while looking around. The page I was referring to is here

Going a bit deeper I realized that by DEFAULT all systems would be shipped with a windows product, so you have to call them to get anything else loaded up. It is therefore arguable that you are paying the M$ tax after all, however you'd have to actually call and see if they deduct anything for not buying the MS OS. And even if they didn't you are showing companies that non MS products do sell, if some competition starts growing the tax will get eliminated in the costcutting process. Ed
