Yes, pidgin is pidgin, but we shouldn't call proper pronunciation of one language pidgin because another language, or dialect within the same language, pronounces it differently. Pidgin is a mixture of languages, with rudimentary grammar and vocabulary, and often pronunciation suffers because of the speakers inability to pronounce the non-native words the way a native speaker would. If I move to Germany and say "gemixed", that it pidgin, but to say "mixed" in English isn't, no matter its etymology.
