Why not just install it yourself? You can either put it where the wire comes in, or run a patch to your desk. <clickety click>
Also, in a pinch, there is an EASY way to get her off the phone if yuo have an extension. Get a regular phone cord (2-wire), lop off one end, plug the other end in and carefully (or not so carefully, as you see fit) tap the tip and ring together. If you do it just right, it should reset the phone connection. If not, it will still make talking on a cell phone in the middle of the Lincoln Tunnel sound good by comparison.
