I'm sure you people have seen the lists of things you can do to freak your roomate out. Alas, I am not in that particular kind of mood. And I am renting this place for only 6 weeks for some summer calc and discrete math classes so I'm not going to invest in short lived hamsters.
See, there is one phone line in my apartment. My roomate, having failed out of engineering because she spends all her time singing in karaoke chatrooms, seems to have now devoted all her time at home to doing just that. And having seen her spray raid on ants on the counter with dishes sitting right there makes me wonder if she has a brain at all. I don't plan to fail any of my classes, but since I can't get my homework and solutions off the class site until very late in the wee hours of the morning, I am pretty much screwed for quizzes, which are worth not quite half my grade. No midterm, final is 60%.

So every now and then she gets off. So I dial up and try to bring up the class page. I see empty frames. Why? Because she picked up the phone and punched in a friend's number without bothering to listen first. I can't get back on because she won't put the phone down. She does this nonstop all day. It is now about 3 in the morning. I finally have what I need. But do I really have time to finish my hw and study for the quiz tomorrow? Lord no. So let me ask you this. Should I return the favor and see if I can kill her connection every 10-15 minutes or so, or is there a better way to deal with her? Keep in mind that she sprays poison with our dishes out.
