What if said politician turned on the TV and saw some little girl starving in Africa. He might decide that she should be fed. And next thing you know, he goes screwing up the whole militry-industrial complex and stops building roads in your stretch of the county so enough money can be freed up to go feed that little girl. Let us pray that no politician will ever have the brains to pull off such a travesty.
