but if you were running a mac, you could use ResEdit to just rearrange what signal is sent from the keyboard to the MB (ex you could tell it that when you hit the "t" key, you want it to send the "n" signal, etc), and do it that way.

Unless you're planning to not remember your key layout, that wouldn't be a problem.

Are you trying to switch to another standard layout? I know they make Dvorak keyboards somewhere....
