an american parent outside of the US you do have citizenship rights afik. My mom had inquired awhile back because they thought it might make it even easier for my bro to get into the US. But I think he got in due to his business despite whatever family we have there.(mostly just cousins though our maternal grandfather and his family were all american up to the mayflower which they came over on... lol)
