I am more than happy to have a conversation with anyone about religion (something I know surprisingly little about, funnily enough) It just gets a little bit boring when Jehovas Witnesses knock on my door every month and tell me i'm going to roast in the fires of ten kinds of hell unless I see the light etc, etc. Stereotype begets stereotype and because (IMHO) christianity and what I believe are so diametrically opposed we simply cannot find any common frame of reference to start from. I suppose that I have been subjected to too many as arrogant and pious christians that I have become jaded. I am by no means an anti christian (not many "pagans" are) Of course I care what people think of me. I try (but dont always succeed) not to hurt or offend anyone right up until they do it to me. If you would like to know how/why/what/when I worship then I will most certainly tell you. Perhaps we should take it to your diary? BTW, Simon's an IT consultant. he'll fall over laughing at your definition of Shamanism! :o)
