The installer for Kazza-lite is also supposed to add some entries to %WinDir%\system32\drivers\etc\HOSTS to stop it from loading some stuff. I think they also did some hex edits on the executables, but I cant remember any more. You haven't undone the changes to host, have you? Maybe you need to add some new entries. Also, Kazaa-lite keeps on asking me to upgrade to the latest version, luckily I caught that before my gf, or she may have "upgraded" in typical point and click style. I imagine the upgrade is the official Kazza upgrade complete with ads and spyware.
