Read it late: Kickstart & Immigration Scariness by deadweasle2002-07-22 12:35:24
Yes I heard the married bringing spouse in by Arienadean 2002-07-22 12:46:50
from another country was a pita. However I think those immigrating with job skills desired from a list of priority countries gets you in faster... particularly if you have family here.

Chromatix is planning on being here later. His job skills are on the list, afik england is for a priority/desired country because we are commonwealth, and also he has 2 aunts here. So we are hoping it will go reasonably well when the time comes. If it is really difficult, complex or impossible the other alternative is for me to finally get my duel citizenship and invoke that. Then I can go go the UK. However then it gets complex because I have a son from a prior relationship. And I have a jurisdictional clause ... which at the time was to prevent my ex from running with my kids... so I'd have to go to court to alter that clause, or reach an agreement with my ex, or I'd have to allow my son to live with his father... Though I love canada that jurisdictional clause is about all thats keeping me here. Alot of painful memories are around here and I'll feel like going away when my daughter dies. But I couldn't take loosing my son... *sigh*
