          I had a neighbor who was a grad by Naruki 2002-07-22 12:06:12
student in psychology, and as part of her Masters thesis, she demonstrated that you could teach 3 year olds to read - by training her own son. This was many years ago, before such things as "pre-schools" were conceived. She was wildly successful, and then realized the downside of a bookworm 5-year-old trying to fit in with the other kids. So, for her next two kids, she cancelled the training program - but failed to stop her eldest son from teaching the others. ;-)

They weren't any smarter than the other kids, you know. Just better educated.
