The first school I went to had a kindergarten for "bright" 4/5-year olds (so they put me in there when I was 3), and a "normal" kindergarten for 5/6-year olds (which I went to when I was 4). The next year I switched schools, and they put me in kindergarten with the rest of the kids my age...
