Since already you try to throw out Christ's allegory of The Rich man and Lazarus. Do you mean Old Testament only? Since there are some who argue that the entire book of the Bible is symbolic almost anything can be discounted. And since you restrain the source to the Bible, and yet reserve to yourself the right to decide what is symbolic and what is not how can anything be "proved" at all? All that could be accomplished by attempting your challenge is a long drawn out and ultimately meaningless flame war. Sorry, no thanks. Ed
