| scumbag, dirtball, weasel, dirty rotten lying cheating sonofabush....... whatever you like to call it, I have a theory :
"All men are (fill in favorite epithet here)"
Some, like your ex, are just better at it than others; at the other extreme, some have a very good veneer of civilisation and almost always act like decent human beings (I try to stay at that end myself). However, if you look deep inside, beneath the veneer, we are all scum.... even me.... I have fantasies that would get me modded into the stone age!!! I don't act on those fantasies because I am quite sure I'd get caught!
Young women might save themselves a great deal of grief and heartache if they were taught this Basic Truth from an early age -- if they want to go ahead and fall in love with a man anyway, they should :
- be aware of the potential dangers and pitfalls;
- never trust a man 100%;
- and always have a "Plan B" ready if the scum burns through the veneer.......
