should have been Computer Engineering. Networking and building the computers is way more fun than making the chips themselves, and besides, wearing those funny bunny white suits (Can you say Stay-Puf marshmallow man?) was cumbersome work in the cleanroom. Of course, that was until those Intel guys wore neon green and orange ones.
