Sorry to sound condesending, but you've hit on one of my pet hates.

Referring to Microsoft as "M$", "Micro$oft" or similar, calling Windows "Winblows", "Windoze" or similar.

It just makes you sound like an elitist teenager.

A lot of people are put off using Linux, not because they dont want to learn something new or its too hard, but because of the attitude of a lot of Linux users. Instead of making fun of a competing products name, try to point out why Linux would be a better solution, in terms managers can understand. Explain that it would be more stable and cost less to run.

Try to remember that different OS's meet different needs, going round the office and saying "ah, winblows sux! hahaha it crashed!" just makes you sound like an arrogant elitist.
