why does your sign say your from Bellville IL? (don't you just love qrz.com? :) No I've not memorized the prefixes so I was being lazy and looked it up). I could of got one of the new VA7's when it first came out but I stuck with my VE7. Though I could of attempted to claim my grandfathers callsign.(nobody in family I've talked to remembers it exactly I think... it was from they very very early days of ham radio's existence) Since you were brave enough to say your call I might as well say mine which I did actually get to choose. VE7 HFA (VE7 SUE was taken and I could of went with my initials I guess aka VE7 SPE but I didn't feel like doing that.) Btw I'm only VHF licensed but at some point I'll get around to getting my code and advanced. :) My roommate however has both of those and also often teaches ham courses here. So everyone out there thats a Ufie... if your a ham ... CQ DX... What is your callsign? :) 73 ...
