The read-only driver is always easy to make by DaNutBall 2002-07-12 22:45:17
In fact 90% of the work for a FS in the Linux kernel is just in the read-only driver. The WRITE part of the NTFS driver is pretty unstable and has an easy time corrupting the partition. This is the other 10% of making the whole shebang work. This is the part that needs gnireenigne esrever. Pity. Not like we need another journaling FS.
