about the pledge: I say the words, and I would rather keep the pledge as I am used to hearing it, but I can see why people feel that it should be removed. If (when?) it is removed I will likely continue to say it, out of habit if nothing else, just as I am certain that many of you, when you have occasion to recite the pledge, may voluntarily leave it out.
About anarchy: the ultimate form of government, and one that will be in place in the future (as my faith sees it) is a theocracy. God is in total control. Interestingly, the closest system of goverment currently in existence to this is anarchy. The similarities are rather apparant: there is no human government, no human ruler, therefore no human error. Unfortunately, humans are "insane", as you put it :-) and we are fallen creatures. Therefore in this world we cannot successfully have an anarchistic society. In a perfect world it would be the best system of human government, but humans are not perfect therefore it will not happen.
About pronouns: Yes God did create male and female in His image, but He also clearly defined gender roles. God specifically chose to be referred to as "Father" and as male because taht is the role that He takes on. Before I get flamed here for "disrespecting women" and all that, I most emphatically do not. I highly respect women, however I believe that both men and women have their places and their roles. I could not do as good a job raising a child as a woman could, because I do not have the necessary mother's instinct. Most (and yes I do say most) women could not serve in the military in a comabt role because they do not have the killer instinct. There are many many differecnt examples of gender roles, but that is a different topic. All I'm trying to say is that God does intentionally take upon the masculine role, and this does not make women any less than the beautiful creatures that they are.
