PCMall carries cheap ethernet cards, including a D-Link ISA card for $14.99. (search for isa nic) Or if you want to look around farther (I don't know where you'd find one of these), I've had real good luck with my RealTek RTL-8009's (an NE2000 clone) under both Linux (Mandrake 6.5) and OpenBSD. Cards are out there to be had, and not terribly difficult to locate.
