1. You are woken up by someone breaking into your home in the middle of the night.
It's dark and he's got a mask on, but by build he seems male, no idea what race.
2. You spot a really bad driver.
The first thought that occurs to me whenever I'm driving and encounter bad driving is "Get off the phone, you idiot!" 90% of the time I'm correct and they are babbling on their cell. I make no assumption of male/female, but I usually assume age somewhere between 20 and 40.
3. You round a corner and see a number of police with some suspects pressed against a wall.
Three or four police with 2 or 3 suspects. The suspects are young and male. I didn't picture any skin color till you suggested it then I get medium skin color with dark hair, could be hispanic, light "black", asian, or tan caucasian. The cops are mixed black and white.
4. You accidentally touch a strangers hand in the darkness of a movie theatre.
Invariably when this happens to me it's because someone's annoying bouncing child is bored. Smooth, male (not a man yet), no rings, soft.
5. You are working on a helpdesk and a user is having a lot of trouble understanding basic computer concepts.
Having worked help desk, 90% of my calls were from males that sounded 25-50 years old.
6. You need to ask directions from janitorial staff in a unfamiliar building.
Asian or hispanic. That's just how things tend to be around here.
7. You are woken up early Sunday morning by a knock on your door.
I have no idea. "Your house is on fire!" maybe? Who in the world knocks on doors early on a Sunday? Not to mention my bed is nowhere near the door and I can barely here the doorbell in my bedroom when I'm awake much less asleep. I don't think I have an answer.
8. You arrive for a job interview.
White male or female anywhere between 30 and 60. At least that's my experience.
9. You are stopped by police while driving.
White male between 25-40, same race as me. No, he does not have his gun drawn.
10. A woman is standing on a street corner in a bad neighbourhood.
Urban youth/young adult style of dress. Waiting for a light to change probably on her way to any number of trendy clubs/raves that pop up in the "less upscale" neighborhoods. |
