I just told you how the stereotype came about - the fact that you choose a much more unlikely scenario in no way makes you fit to tie your shoes.

And "redneck", for your (grossly inadequate) information, did NOT refer strictly to Southerners in the beginning (nor does it now, for that matter). It referred to farmers and "people of the land" who spent all day in the sun working instead of in schools, thus impairing their obvious level of education and making them appear to be less than intelligent. Amazing how that works.

The Southerners just adopted the term out of perverse pride - sort of like Americans adopting the pejorative "Yankee".

And there are clearly stupid people using your computer - perhaps you should find out who they are.
