even though you're blinded by modern preconceptions.
"problem" does not equal "fault", you closed-minded a**.
Is it your problem that someone wears glasses? No, it's their problem. Theirs to deal with.
Is it my kid's fault that he doesn't want to play with a kid who might get a skinned knee and infect him? Perhaps. But he didn't give the kid HIV, either.
Bobby has HIV. Tommy does not. Why should Tommy be put out in any way for Bobby's problem? Tommy's not responsible for infecting Bobby. Tommy is not Bobby's parent or guardian. There is no rational reason to limit Tommy or make Tommy uncomfortable for things that are not his fault, or to educate him and make him feel somehow guilty for *not* being infected. Or worse, make him envy the attention Bobby gets from well-meaning misguided liberals. The HIV may not be Bobby's fault, either, but the reality is that he has it. Unhappiness is sometimes unavoidable, but by spreading it unjustly you don't make things better, you make them worse.
