Please help me by razark 2002-07-12 12:31:31
My computer has decided to stop working. After a recent attempt to reboot, all I got was a blank screen with a cursor blinking at me. Tried to boot from another hard drive. I tried to boot from a CD, same thing. Same with a floppy disk.
Basicaly, the box goes through post, and I can get into bios setup fine. Afterwards, it goes to the blank screen, but if I don't have a hard drive connected, it gets as far as showing PCI bus listing before it hangs. The hard drive or floppy drive (whichever I told it to boot from) activity light stays on, but nothing happens.
I'm getting kind of tired of browsing with Lynx, as now I can't see the comic strips... :(
