Unless you are referring to trailer trash folks. But that's trailer trash, not rednecks.

Jeff was a redneck, he simply made the rest of us rednecks laugh by bringing up our little quirks.

Actually, I don't think we are ethinic minorities (calling a white redneck that in the south may get you seriously misunderstood), we are just folks with an interesting regional culture. Not much different than Yankees I suppose. . .
