pronouce capitals. It is a knack. ;-)

As has been pointed out elsewhere, the official printed version has the capital 'G' God. Also, I am not aware of any other cultures who use the word "God" in reference to their supreme being.

No matter how hard you try to force them, some belief systems just don't fit into the deist model.

The heart of the matter isn't that it wasn't in the original pledge. The heart of the matter is that the phrase "under God" excludes those who don't believe in "God". The fact that it wasn't part of the original is merely a counter to those who argue that it should be left as it is because of tradition or history.

There is nothing wrong with crying "discrimination" when the discrimination actually exists.

Are the Christian's beliefs so insecure that they must force everyone into their mold? The government has no business pushing any religion.
