not on that kind of level, anyway. An 18-yr old wouldn't need parental permission, but even so, many parents would support their children in such an endeavor. I bet there are young members of the ACLU or objectivists or some such, perhaps he could've put the word out to these groups that "something must be done"?

Of course, "should've" is all well and good. I disagree with his tactics, but they can't be changed now. It's unfortunate, as it gives the opponents of the ruling more fuel for the fire.
