on your trash system that's probably harder to undelete.
Play dumb when he says that solitaire isn't working anymore. Of
course, this is pretty dishonest and doesn't really
address the root problem, and if he ever finds out could lead to
a lot of snippiness between the two of you, but it's
probably easier on both you and him than trying to convince him
that he's actually addicted to something. In my experience
solitaire addiction is more like addiction-lite and goes away
with the disappearance of the game. Did for me. I
one time went through an addiction to the solitarie that's
played
with real cards. Had to rip 'em up to get on with life.
If your dad's any like me, he probably doesn't think
solitaire is more important than his business, he just can't
help himself. |
