You're not very humble, you know, but that is not what makes it redundant. I think my point was clear enough that I won't rise to calling you an idiot - just go back and reread it until you see what makes it redundant.
You can "confess" any baloney you want - just don't try to force it on me. There is NO higher power than Man. Don't believe me? Well isn't that too bad - it's going to be the new pledge. Aw, now you're gonna whine that I'm infringing on your religious freedom. Turnabout's a B atch, ain't it?
Seriously, the original pledge was all-inclusive. This new one states some religious dogma that goes against our founding principle by BEING religious dogma - correct or not. Even if every last man, woman, and dog in this country WERE a Christian, it is still unconstitutional!
You'd better check the history on those so-called official documents you claim to exist, too. You are doubtless wrong about their original forms. |
