none of the examples I had seen included negative numbers. It looks like the system I was basing mine off of doesn't use negatives, it uses a positive East number if the location had a negative West number. Currently the '-' is used to separate the two, this would make including a negative symbol '-' difficult. I will see what Kickstart recommends.
