even if proven horribly unfit. The courts felt that my ex was the best person to raise our son even though she can barely speak, can't write and can't read english. Takes no interest in our sons education. Continuously exposes him to her abusive boyfriends. Ignores his basic needs in favor of her personal comfort and enjoyment. All of these I established and documented in court yet it was worthless. Her Lawyer (whom I had to pay for) simply pointed out that my Master's Degree and 80K a year salary gave me an unfair advantage in that I could afford hire private investigators to prove these facts. The judge then ignored all the evidence and I was forced to negotiate a settlement. I still want to know what I have to do to get custody of my son?
