The only thing I have gathered out of reading the posts on this board is that Atheists spend a lot of time telling people that there is nothing so stop wasting time. Not exactly free thought and decision making.

But, just like not all muslims are terrorists, not all Atheists are flamers, not all pagans are good, not all hindus are vegetarian, not all christians "brainwash" their children. My mother was a christian, and she allowed me to grow up areligious so I could make my own choices. I was 25 before I became a believer. Up until then I hated christians. I have a lot of friends who are the same way. Being brought up in a christian family doesn't preclude the child will be a christian. It is still up to them to make the decision.
