I was browsing around, a bit bored, and decided to find out what User Friendly stock cost. If you clicked that link, you found out it runs .03 a share. Thinking on that a moment, I decided on a few calculations. (just rearranging decimals, pretty much.)
10 shares = $0.30
100 "" = $3.00
1000(!) ""= $30.00
10,000 "" = $300.00
(!!!!!!)
Now, I know this is obvious, but I thought it was interesting to put out there for all to see. Now the best part, for US UFies. THESE PRICES ARE IN CANADIAN DOLLARS! In other words, about 2/3 of that amount in US (latest currency figures I could find).
Need I say more? I'm seriously considering at least a thousand share myself, just for kicks. Remember that there will be fees and such, and I don't know how much those are, but if it's - say - 10%, that's about $220.00 US for 10,000 shares of UF. Even a poor college student could afford 100 shares, if you can find any way to buy them. Interesting, hmmmmm?
Anyone from UF Media, let me know if any of this is wrong, or if you have any more info. |
