"Funny as a heart attack"? Had you been a different person, it just might have been. It's your call whether or not to press charges - you are certainly in your right to do so if you wished. And I personally don't care if the kid gets thrown in jail or not - but I hate to think he goes away from this thinking he could do it again to someone else "with a better sense of humor". If you think his father will set him straight on this, then _perhaps_ that's the best solution. If he had done it to me, then the coroner would have been called for one of us.
