comes of the investigation, then so be it. I agree that the police are and should be held accountable to a higher standard, but that doesn't necessarily make them immediately above the human condition despite their training. Calling someone scum for being HUMAN seems somewhat callous, seeing as none of us were there to see what may have inspired the officer's anger. If anything, I would think that those who stood to one side and did/said nothing should be held at least (if not moreso) accountable for events, as their heads would seemingly have been cooler.
